We'll be doing more rocket launching! Bring what you have left over from last year, and we've bought a bunch more stuff for this year. All the notes from 2012 apply to 2013.

We've got:
- A collection of mini engine and D/E engine powered rockets
- A bunch of motors for same
- Some shitty car keyfob cameras
- A healthy disregard for aerospace engineering
If you want to bring your own rockets & engines please do.
If you'd like to build rockets of your own design, I (AdamF) recommend OpenRocket. You can pick up common Estes models in RockSim format (which OpenRocket can load) from Rocket Reviews. I'd start with editing those files. The key things are: the center of gravity (Cg) needs to be higher on the model (closer to the nose cone) than the center of pressure (Cp). The stability of the rocket should be (ideally) around 2 cal. Also recall that you don't always want an engine with the longest time between burn and ejection (the last number on the engine, measured in seconds) because you can end up ejecting the recovery system well after rocket apogee which can make the rocket hit the ground hard enough to break.
